Jean and John Smith would like to welcome you the Meydieu renovation site. The site is best viewed at 1024x768
After two and a half years of hard work the renovation is now finished, so there will probably be no more updates. We would like to thank all the people who helped with the renovation. Everybody listed below has made a valuable contribution to the success of the renovation, but we must say a special thank you to Michael. Without Michael the project would probably have collapsed in the first year.

We will still update the main web site from time to time.
If you’ve been here before you may want to jump to our latest photos. You will probably notice that many of the pages that were on this site are no longer here. They have been moved to our main web site www.meydieu.com
Meydieu is the name of our house in South West France
We bought Meydieu in 2003 and are in the process of doing some renovation. The house was basically sound. It was what the French call habitable, but it is taking quite a bit of work to get it up to standard.
Work started in earnest in January 2004. Our good friend Michael has been able to take an extended leave of absence and has been working marvels with the house.
The site consists mostly of photos documenting the renovation of the house.
Feel free to browse around this site. If you have comments or questions, or would just like to contact us please see our details on the contact page.
Thanks for visiting and we look forward to hearing from you.john@meydieu.com
