	This month we started the pool. It will be 10m x 5m and 1.25m deep. Depending on the weather, we hope to be finished by Christmas. In any case it will be ready for next spring. As soon as it has water I will try it out. I think it’s likely to be a very short swim. Keep an eye on the Website. I will try to to update it a couple of times a week until the pool is finished.




			The first step is to dig a big hole in the garden.

			The walls are made from polystyrene blocks filled with reinforced concrete.

				This picture shows how deep the pool will be.



			Nick helps out with the reinforcing rods. The semicircular part is where the steps will go.
